The Western New York Flash and FC Kansas City will not have to wait long for a rematch of Friday’s game, as the teams will faceoff again on Thursday night at Swope Soccer Village. The game, just six days after their previous meeting in Rochester, is scheduled to kickoff at 8:00 p.m. ET at the new home of the Blues.

Thursday’s match will be streamed live on YouTube and can be watched by clicking the link here.  Fans can also follow live play-by-play at the Flash's official Twitter page, @WNYFlash, and can join the conversation by using the hashtag #FCKCvWNYF.

In Friday’s contest in Rochester, the Flash held the majority of opportunities, outshooting the Blues 19-7 however it was Kansas City that came out victorious by a 1-0 score line. Liz Bogus scored in the 73rd minute on a close-range shot that got past Sabrina D’Angelo and, despite numerous equalizing opportunities, the Flash were unable to get the ball by Nicole Barnhart.

Thursday’s match will mark the first chance newcomer Ashley Nick will have to represent the red and yellow. Nick, who will be available for selection Thursday night, was acquired by the Flash on Monday in a trade that sent defender Toni Pressley to the Houston Dash.

After Thursday’s game, the Flash return home for two games, first hosting the Washington Spirit at 7 p.m. ET on May 23. Tickets for that game are available online at wnyflash.com, by calling the Flash at (716) 655-PLAY or by calling the Sahlen’s Stadium Box Office at (585) 454-KICK.
