Flash to Host Open Training, Clinic Tuesday

TRAINING/CLINIC
09/01/2015 5:55 AM -

The Western New York Flash will be holding an open training session followed by a clinic for youth soccer players on Tuesday afternoon at Sahlen’s Stadium.

The Flash will first train from 12:30-2:00 p.m. in Rochester, where fans are encouraged to attend and watch how the pros get match ready. Then, the players will turn into coaches as 180 youth soccer players from age 6-16 will be taught in the team’s annual Salute to Women’s Soccer clinic from 2:30-4:00 p.m.

Youth players will have the opportunity to learn from their favorite players, get autographs and meet the entire Flash team. This year’s clinic will also benefit Roswell Park Cancer Institute with a portion of each registration being donated to the Buffalo-based hospital.

Media members who wish attend the training and/or clinic are asked to contact Jackie Maynard at jackie.maynard@wnyflash.com.
